Why I Built Local City Walk

When I started building Local City Walk, I was not trying to create just another website, directory, or digital platform.

I was trying to solve a real problem.

For 30 years, I worked as an electrician. That career gave me a front-row seat to the grit, discipline, and commitment it takes to build something real. I worked around hardworking people every day, people who built businesses, served their communities, and created real value through skill, consistency, and trust. What stood out to me over time was this: many of the best local businesses were not being represented online in a way that matched who they really were.

They deserved better.

Too many good business owners have been left behind by an internet that rewards noise, manipulation, and short-term tactics over quality, credibility, and substance. I built Local City Walk because I believe local businesses deserve a real piece of the internet, one built on strength, visibility, trust, and long-term value.
