Bombay bar& grill

A landmark in Ventura, Bombay Bar and Grill started in April 1984, with a casual and lively atmosphere that varies depending on the time of day and the entertainment. It is a downtown staple that attracts a diverse mix of customers, from families and restaurant patrons to a young, vibrant live music and nightclub crowd on weekends. Daytime and early evening A restaurant setting: During the day and early evening, the atmosphere is more relaxed, with a focus on their gourmet burgers and American pub fare. Happy hour: The bar is particularly known for its happy hour deals, which create a friendly and fun social vibe. Live entertainment: Bombay features local live music in the early evening and dancing with DJs at night on weekends, which contributes to a good-time, social vibe. Outdoor patio: A patio lounge is available for a more relaxed, open-air experience. Late night and weekends Lively nightclub: On Friday and Saturday nights, the energy shifts to a nightclub atmosphere with two dance floors and live music or DJs. High energy: This is when the crowd tends to get younger and more focused on dancing and socializing. The music can get very loud, as expected for a live music venue. Security: Due to the busy nightclub environment, there is security present, including metal detectors and purse checks. Overall atmosphere Friendly staff: Many reviews commend the bartenders and staff for being friendly and attentive, contributing to a welcoming experience. "Laid-back" decor: The venue has a "laid-back" local style that is relaxed and unpretentious. Social and memorable: Whether you're there for a quiet meal, drinks, or late-night dancing, the general vibe is centered around fun and making memories.
