Community Guidelines

1Keep Reviews Authentic

Local City Walk relies on genuine user experiences. All reviews and ratings must represent your honest, firsthand experience with a local business. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for incentivized reviews, coordinated review-bombing campaigns, or businesses rating their own establishments.

2Respectful Discourse

We encourage open feedback, but it must remain constructive. Hate speech, harassment, threats, or discriminatory language directed at business owners, staff, or other users will result in immediate account termination. Keep the focus on the business transaction and overall customer experience.

3Accurate Business Information

Business owners are responsible for maintaining accurate, up-to-date profiles. Do not overload your listing title with keywords (keyword stuffing), use misleading geographic locations to appear in broader searches, or upload copyrighted imagery you do not own. High-quality, precise listings perform best on our native SEO engine.

4Verification and Claiming

Only authorized representatives or owners may legally claim a business listing. Our platform rigorously checks domain alignments to establish proof of ownership. Fraudulent claiming attempts are logged and will result in permanent platform bans.

5Reporting Mechanisms

If you encounter a listing, review, or image that natively violates these guidelines, you must use the "Flag Content" button directly attached to the specific component. This immediately routes the data string to our administrative moderation queue for rapid manual review. Do not attempt to bypass this system by posting retaliatory reviews.

6Enforcement and Appeals Process

Violations are handled strictly. First offenses typically result in a formal warning and immediate content deletion. Severe violations (e.g., automated scraping, hate speech) result in instantaneous, permanent IP and account bans. If a business owner believes their listing was erroneously removed, they may formally appeal the decision by emailing admin@localcitywalk.com with their dashboard verification credentials.
